Liré is a collaborative work and document management system developed and is used by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. It consists of a "living" document repository that changes and evolves under the control of its users. Liré allows the sharing, management, and reuse of knowledge effectively and efficiently.

VisualIndex is a tool to graphically visualize and navigate search results in a particular domain of interest. The method is primarily based on coword analysis on a corpus of documents published in that domain, augmented with domain ontologies. The results are rendered as a connected graph of terms, authors and documents. The graph displays the strength of relationships between these various objects so that the user can quickly navigate through the most relevant terms. The product is still under development but an experimental version is available on request.

Aware is a system with a new approach to manage ad-hoc and structured workflows in distributed organizations. It allows the creation of complex multi-event awareness through publish-subscribe models for managing workflows across applications throughout an organization in a scalable, and distributed fashion.

Chaavi is a peer-to-peer system for managing tools and applications that perform electronic data transformations (translations, format conversions, routing, encryption/decryption, encoding/decoding, compression/decompression etc). Its centralized management model is eminently suitable for evolution, migration and maintenance, while providing very efficient resource utilization, selecting the right tool for the right job so to speak.
